Nature’s Select Multi Protein Dog Food has been fortified to meet the needs of reproducing (gestating and lactating) female dogs. Food consumption can vary during gestation and lactation, but reproducing females must eat enough food to maintain a good body condition. Expect intakes to increase 2 to 4 times the cups shown in the adult feeding guidelines during lactation.

Feeding Puppies
chart as a guideline. We recommend serving Nature’s Select dry food with warm water (three parts dry food, one part water) until weaned (6 to 8 weeks of age) Remove softened food after a couple of hours due to spoilage. Don’t let your puppy get too overweight and maintain an ideal body condition. Individual needs will vary with breed, activity, litter size and environmental temperature. Slight appetite changes are normal with puppies. Since Nature's Select foods are complete and balanced, additional foods, treats and chews may alter the nutritional balance and calories. Be sure to offer fresh, clean water daily. We recommend you take your pet to see your veterinarian annually.
*ALWAYS KEEP A SUPPLY OF CLEAN WATER AVAILABLE AT ALL TIMES!
